Happy Corpus Christi feast day! The Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ is not just a celebration in Jesus giving Himself, His Body and Blood, but is more importantly observing the Eucharist’s transformation of the Church. We are transformed by the Eucharist, and are Christ’s mystical Body with the Church, into the living presence of our Divine Lord Jesus present in this world. 

Today’s Feast is like the Church in Procession, as the feast originally began with the congregation marching in procession with the Blessed Sacrament. It has evolved to become an outward visible expression of the individual communal movement of humankind toward Christ, reminding us that we are a people enroute. Much like the route of human procession in life, we will face changes, pitfalls and detours, and we should require Christ’s presence, to navigate our journey. 

The restoration of Eucharistic Adoration on every Friday at our parish is sign of our faith in Jesus Christ. Any revitalization of parish life should begin with Eucharist that transforms the Church, His Body. Welcome back to our Blessed Sacrament and Eucharistic Adoration!
